On Saturday, the developer EYA opened their doors and unveiled the model homes that we have been waiting so long for. I think I can speak for many people and say that it was worth the wait. Each model home has been expertly staged to attract a young urban artist demographic. I like to call this the "Hipster Doofus" target market. I brought my 27 year old sister and her 26 year old boyfriend to see the new homes and they were going crazy for the Rolling Stone magazine covers and record albums that adorned the walls. I have a feeling that EYA will be fielding a lot of questions about where they bought their trendy couches, rugs and throw pillows. The amenities in the model homes were also impressive. Each home had stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Another cool feautre was an extra bedroom, bathroom and roof deck on the 4th level. It is easy to imagine the urban walkable community that Arts District Hyattsville will become. For any questions about purchasing an urban rowhome please send me an email or call me on my cell phone.
